My good friend Deb was in town from Chicago a couple of weeks ago. She wanted me to take photos of her son, Jackson. But he was so not into getting his picture taken. A 6-year old boy — that’s normal! He wasn’t falling for any of my tricks so it was a short and sweet session. But we got some good ones. And we definitely got a lot of different expressions!

I (well, actually Chris!) recently discovered Shannon Sewell on [FRAMED] — if you haven’t checked it out, you should!: www.framedshow.com/ Ok, so I LOVE her and find out she’s coming to Santa Cruz for a workshop. I signed up… and a Friday or so ago spent an amazing day with her and 10 other talented women at the Bonny Doon Winery. It was a glorious day and so FUN and I learned a TON! Here is a shot of Shannon in action and one of the adorable models. And below that, a few pics of my friend Annemarie and her two kiddos using a new lens and a few new Photoshop actions (www.actions.nicholeV.com) — THANK YOU SHANNON for sharing so much with us all! ~Debbie
We love to have nature in our shots and this time of year is the most colorful. At our last photoshoot the mom made the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. They were so fun and we ended up using them in almost every shot!!
There are many more to come but these were a couple that I wanted to share for now.
